I have tried so many things to try and get this to work, so I thought I should ask folks over here to see if anybody had more ideas.
So, I had a Samsung S20 that dropped out of my pocket. The screen is now broken as in it flickers between bright colors and complete black. I upgraded to an S23 Ultra and I want to move the data from my old phone to the new one using smart switch (I did not back up anything on Google or on Verizon Cloud, so those options are out of the window).
Now, because of the screen, I knew I was going to connect my phone to another device with an HDMI cord so I could navigate on that. However, the display won't show up on the other device if I have not unlocked my phone which is impossible because it is not registering my fingerprint and I have a giant password that is extremely difficult to type in with the screen flickering in and out.
I tried to unlock my phone through Find My Mobile on the Samsung website, but I didn't have that set up on my old phone. I don't know what else to do and I was hoping somebody would have some advice to share. Much appreciation to anyone who does have anything to share!
