Hey everyone, i moved from maine to florida and fish bass but want to get into saltwater. had a guy at bass pro set me up with a freshwater st croix triumph 7ft mh f paired with a daiwa bg 3000 spooled with 30lb diamond braid. he said i could do all my inshore fishing and bass with that one rod, when i got home i realized it’s only rated to 3/4oz and seems smaller than the inshore version i see online. isn’t 1oz common in inshore? will this work well for salt? should i look into a different rod? what will i be able to handle in florida with this?
