Listened to this episode and bro is exactly right about it. I personally do not give a shit about what my main characters look like but if they're gonna be from a different culture let them be.

I remember playing Guacamelee when I was a teenager and as a Hispanic kid I thought it was so cool seeing my culture represented in a video game like that and thought about how many people have played it without being too exposed to the culture and learning about it.

Diversity is cool and keeps you from being boxed in to just one perspective
