It baffles me that someone can think this, but I guess it shows there is an audience to be appealed to by the DT's MO. So many of the inconsistent or illogical moments are fueled by the characters being out of character, the rules of the universe being reinterpreted/changed to suit the moment regardless of the repercussions, or even deliberately contradictory for the sake of a surprise.
