So as a salmacian, I am different from the majority of the population, and have been treated from outright vileness to near utter captivation. I have heard from some people that it is not a good thing to have your partner have a fetish for what you have, but I feel that this is not always the case. While I do feel that it cant be the ONLY thing that you have together I feel that when dealing with something like this it is something that can really help. I know that when people tell me how "lucky" I am, or how interested they are in my condition, it makes me feel at least that people find me interesting. I am VERY open about my condition, especially with possible partners, I feel it is a only right that I explain that I am different from the vast majority of people. I think it is all a matter of balance, I feel it is perfectly find with finding someone with a fetish for things that you have, or things that are a part of who you are, but it is just as vital that you also have other things in common and share those things. Like I am a nerdy person, I have "nerdy" interests, I enjoy learning and watching documentaries. If someone shares my interests and I connect with them, them being turned on by me seems like something that would be a positive addition.
