I'm transitioning from a 30 year construction career into sales. Specifically, selling roofing coatings to commercial customers. Right now, I'm just doing it part time on Fridays (one of my three days off), and I'm looking for advice on any and everything. Books, prospecting, cold calling, the works. I was kinda hoping for some training from the company I'm working for, but looks like I've been thrown to the wolves and left to figure it out on my own. Any advice or book recommendations would be highly appreciated!
