How many follow up calls are ideal?

I’ve an e-commerce store and we get good number of buyer interested in our product. They call us directly but very less get back to us. So how many follow up calls are good? Like an instance one customer called me twice in 2 hour time frame (couldn’t take the call) and later after communicating with him he said that he is gonna share pics of products he is interested in but he haven’t revert back even after 6 hours yet.
