Created Roles, now I am unable to administrate

Hello all, so I just created roles for our company, there are 3.
CEO, Sales Manager, Sales Rep
I set myself up as the sales manager who reports directly to the CEO. Now that I have done this I no longer have access to edit roles, users, or opportunities/accounts not owned by me. I think that the CEO has access to this stuff? How can I fix this? Thank you all!
