My bachelors is in Biomedical Engineering, I have 5 years of reserach and development in hospitals and labs, and have 3 years in working with various lab equipment such as centrifuges, automated liquid handlers, and so forth. I'm trying to branch towards sales engineering but I'm in a heavily oil and gas sector (Texas). I did work for 5 years on and off as IT support during high school and college for various clients including those in Oil and Gas, Energy, and chemical substances, but I was hoping to get some insight for the healthcare/biotech side.
Having coding experience with MATLAB, Python, some Java
I've been reading some posts here about contacting the hiring managers, and I will start doing that, is there anything else I should consider? Thanks!
