Hi, I have 7 YOE in security roles 4 of them as consultant/architect and 3 as SE.

Was intervirwing for SE roles and right now I have two offers,

One offer from a telco company, which is also a reseller of SaaS cyber security products. The offer is 110k base 25k euro comission in Berlin.

The other offer is from a big SaaS vendor in London 97k base 30k comission ( in Pound currency) 45k dollars RSU over 4 years.

For both companies I asked for 120k euro or pound and that's what I got.

The advantage in Berlin offer is of course the salary and that the cost of living in Berlin is much less than London.

The disadvantages that I see it's that without German langauge I will be stuck in one company in Germany as SE as for any other SE positions I would always need to speak fluent German (which I don't speak) and of course that this company is a reseller telco one and not a SaaS cyber security vendor.

The disadvantage in the vendor in London is that they lowball me around 20 percent from what I asked and I guess it says something about the company; - I'm not sure if with 97k pound base in London i can afford the quality of life that I can afford in Berlin with 110k euro base.

Advantages are obvious - SaaS cyber security vendor so it's better reputation; - London is much better for future self development as there are many job opportunities for SE's and also I won't need to learn German.

What would say would be a better option?

Of course I'm trying to negotiate SaaS vendor's offer.
