Inspired by another thread: What sales jobs are a net positive on society that you can actually feel good about selling?

Post Body

I sell physical security hardware and while it is high paying and I am successful at it I have hit a wall. Whether the customer buys my product or the next at the end of the day a camera is a camera and a locks a lock. It doesn't do good for the world. It just does good for corporations.

Are there sales jobs in Green energy (besides door to door solar, no offense), education, humanitarian efforts, clean drinking water idk what I am really looking for but if you feel AMAZING about what you sell please comment here and give a little summary about what you sell and why it's a net positive.

Not asking for your company name but can you name a couple you think are doing great things?

Yeah I'm helping them buy something they already need and know they need. But nothing good comes out of it except I get a paycheck and they get what they wanted. No ones lives are better for it, there is no inherent good in it I guess. I guess I'd just be happier if I was actually making an impact on people's quality of life or bettering something.
