Hi!
I studied nutrition then decided to take a job at a startup for the thrill and experience and then 3 months in they did layoffs.
Now, because I have limited experience (I also have a year of program coordination for a health company) I don’t know where to go from here. It seems like sales is the only entry-level way into a company,
I have never wanted to be in sales, and actually actively avoided the prospect of it. But now I feel myself applying and interviewing for positions.
To be honest, I’m scared. Because I know I have other interests (which have been kind of pushed down for reasons I wont describe here) and I’m afraid that taking a sales job will be a bad choice if I don’t see myself growing in this type of position.
I also have poor mental health currently after this layoff and also in general I have always dealt w anxiety and depression and I am afraid sales with the ups and downs will fuck with me.
Any advice? :(
