hey guys so I just got off the phone with HR for a fintech company and got my second offer!! I recently just accepted an offer at a SaaS company. I tried negotiating twice but they wouldn’t budge. They had given me a few days to decide if I would sign it so I ended up doing it. I did like the environment at this place as well and it’s also a much larger/global company. I’m going to be starting as a BDR and the commission plan is pretty good but at the fintech company my starting base is higher. I honestly think that at both companies I’ll have the opportunity to make the same in OTE. I start the SaaS company in two weeks and the smaller company wants me to start in May. keep in mind that this smaller company has been winning awards and getting more well known. This is my first career in sales and I hope I’m making the right move.
