How many of you guys sell a commodity? I sell mobile solutions to businesses. This includes cell phones and PBX/Phone Automation systems. But most of my money is in Cell phones. I would like to get your insight on:
1) What kind of businesses pay for their employees' cell phones? I would like to be able to sell into industries that do pay for 10-20 cell phones for their employees
2) When dealing with GKs and selling something that the business is paying for anyways and is of absolute necessity, how do I get across the message that this call could potentially save you a lot of money? The whole "let me take your info" is getting tiresome. Has any GK ever wrote down the info you give them?
3) For those who sell something similar as me, what are some good questions you ask to build value as opposed to fighting a price war?
Thanks r/sales. Your input is appreciated.
