Hello, I was offered a position as a D2D salesman at Chipr Home Solutions. They connected with me through a third party hiring firm and I guess my experience as a sales rep and delivery driver for a tractor supply store interested them. I'm still quite new to this field and I've seen good and bad things from this company. Only one Reddit post has been made about them about a year ago so I wonder if it's changed since them.
They are offering $12.50 (Minimum wage in Florida) plus commission with flexible hours, but then I lose the $12.50 once I get to a higher tier with more commissions. Is this tier system for salesmen legitimate? I worry that it may be more akin to how an MLM operates. It's also a 40 mile range for selling and I wonder if that's worth it with such low hourly pay.
I can add more info if necessary, although I'm not sure I'm allowed to share the job offer contract. What do you all think about this option?
