Hi all, Kinda need to vent about this one as it’s super frustrating and the wound is fresh.
I (Queensland Area Manager) organised a meeting with a big client for our products for today, hit it off well and found the need for products within our range.
Before the meeting I invited my boss (Australia manager) to come with as I thought it would show good unity for the business and raise the scale from a representative talk to a more serious “We want your business talk”.
After me controlling the conversation for 70% of the time and a successful meeting with positive follow ups, the boss said “That went really well didnt it? Will look good against the national sales targets”. Not Queenslands targets (My KPIs) To my estimations this account could be anywhere from 80k to 250k
I organised the meeting, found the need for products and pretty much controlled the conversation from start to finish. Kinda feel like I have been shat on.
Working for a corporate, any ideas or mediation would be appreciated.
