I was laid off awhile back from my role as territory sales manager at an automotive software company (after 6 weeks). I know nothing about the automotive industry. I was just learning it when the layoffs happened.
This is the longest it’s ever taken me to get a job. It’s a tough market and I’m no spring chicken anymore. Im nearly out of unemployment benefits, so I’m looking for something I can sell B2B and probably commission only during my job search, preferably something from home or even at networking events (update: no door to door or mlm for me please. I don’t mind phone cold calling, email, etc).
My background is SaaS, advertising/media sales, and managed IT sales (across many verticals: restaurants, healthcare, legal, finance, non-profits, etc).
Any suggestions are appreciated!
