Sailboat stow-able transportation?
Post Body

We have just bought a pair of folding bikes (West Marine "Port Runners") to cram into our lazarette for lack of a smaller solution. They are great, but I was wondering what other sailors here do for transportation when you come ashore. We looked around for something that would carry two people, but came up short. There are motor kits for the folding bikes Island Hopper Bikes had motorized versions of the West Marine bikes we bought, and Bike Motor Parts sells mounts for little gas engines, but in the end we bought pedal versions and called it a day. Has anyone else ever tried a little motorized bike? They seem like they might be a bit obnoxious, but the motor could be clipped on and off pretty easily. For now the pedals will be fine, but I would love your thoughts?
