How did you get into sailing?

I have only been sailing since last September. The University of Washington has a sailing club that is run by students (with the help of alumni and faculty). I always wanted to learn how to sail so it seemed like the perfect opportunity. I can now say that I am hooked and can't get enough.
Oh btw any redditors going to be at Puget Sound Spring Regatta this weekend?
