Hi everyone! I recently caught the sailing bug, and I'm looking at the different courses that are offered at my local sailing club in Minnesota. For the same price, I can take a beginning 420 or a beginning keelboat course (23-foot Ensign). If I join the club, I'll be able to borrow both types of boats in light wind conditions. I'm leaning towards the keelboat course because my longer-term goal will be to go cruising on Lake Superior. Is there any reason I should pick the 420 course instead? I did quite a bit of windsurfing when I was in college (15 years ago) so I'm not completely new to water and wind. Thanks for any insight you may have!
