Large old boats, repair cost?
Post Body

So im looking at larger old boats online. An Im thinking to myself why not get something bigger and then remodle to fit my needs. when I say larger im talking 45 50's and 60's mostly im a big person 250 so my main complaint is cramped little boats.

The title says it all Im looking for an idea of how much repairs woukd cost i general. I know there is a ton of variation. Ther has to be some way of accounting for cost. I mean boat yards have to account for repair costs and deliver quotes right. So there has to be a spread sheet metrick some place for this kind of thing. Anyone have pro tips for me.

Like glass work costs x$ a square foot, engine work costs x$ an hour etc.
