I have a 2 and a 1 year old. I moved to Michigan from South Carolina to be with my fiance 7 years ago and haven't made any mom friends or just friends in general. I've tried to make friends through my fiances friends but it feels forced, like they have to hang out with me cause I'm his significant other. I'm on Peanut but most people don't continue conversations or just leave me with responses like "lol" I don't have transportation most days unless one of them has a doc appt. and we can't afford the YMCA. How does one make friends when I can't really go anywhere?
I never even thought of roller derby and I’ve always found it interesting yet a little scary lol I love just rolling skating in general. I’ll have to look into that. Was it intimidating when you first started?
