S1 wallet questions

I have an S1 and so far am pretty impressed. What I’m having trouble wrapping my head around is that it’s proprietary to the SafePal app.
What happens if SafePal folded in the future. Could I import the 24 word seed phrase to another wallet that supports the tokens associated with it WITHOUT needing to utilize the S1 in any capacity/sign transactions?
