Gauge might be broke

Post Body

Iโ€™m driving down the highway on Saturday night with my buddy driving about an hour away. Then I notice the oil pressure gauge pegged on 80 like it inching to keep going. Eventually I stop to check my oil level at the gas station later in the night. I was right at where I should add a quart. So I got a quart added that and drove it home. I still continue to see the gauge pegged out sometimes chilling at 40 but especially above 50 itโ€™s just pegged! Gauge is broke I guess but idk ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ anything to be concerned with. Also Iโ€™ve looked where this truck is parked and there has never been a spot of oil so I do not believe it leaks. Any ideas?
