Due to the price cut on the 80v zero turns last week, I have a Z54Li and a Z30Li. I have found that the 54 handles much better but that deck is too wide for some of my mowing obstacles. Has anyone tried a 30” deck on the 54” model? I know there are 3 motor leads on the 54 vs two on the 30, but wondering if the controller will sense if I don’t hook up the middle harness, and if the lift mechanism is the same width on both. Basically hoping someone else has already tried and can save me the headache and backache of trying this if it is known not to work. Edit: un autocorrected “Due”
