I am writing to seek some suggestions regarding my recent admission process for the Materials Engineering (International Profile) master's program at RWTH Aachen University.
I had applied for the program for the summer semester 2023 and was accepted. However, due to visa delay issues, I was unable to join the classes from April 3rd, 2023. I contacted the departmental advisor and was informed that I could not defer my admission and would have to reapply for the winter semester 2023-2024, as per the instructions on my admission letter.
Accordingly, I applied for the winter semester with the same application details but received a rejection, stating that I had not provided evidence of enough credit points, despite attaching my transcript of records with the application. I have contacted the departmental advisor for further information but have yet to receive a response.
As an international student, I am keen to pursue my studies at RWTH Aachen University and am interested in the Materials Engineering program. However, I am unsure of what steps I should take to meet the credit point requirements for admission.
I would greatly appreciate it if the community could provide me with some suggestions on how to proceed further. Additionally, if anyone has had a similar experience or has any information that could be helpful to me, please do share.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
