Hey Everyone!
My wife. 2 kiddos and I finally hit the fuck it bucket and are deciding to join ya'll in living in an RV. We are trying to do some research on everything that goes into RV Living and are excited to be a part of this group to get to know you!
Our Goals
We are looking to snowball our debt and get it all paid off by End of this year and save up to buy used in cash so that we don't owe anyone anything anymore and all our money can go to retirement and fun adventures instead of paying the government and the bank so that I can just to stay alive.
We are looking to get into something relatively cheap to start out with so that we can focus primarily on getting acclimated, saving, and breaking shit on the Hoopdy while we practice our DIY and Handyman skills.
My first question:
I keep hearing a lot of breakdown stories and how your rig will be spending weeks to months in the shop for repairs yada yada, but I was wondering
How Long have you been RVing
How often (if at all) do you actually break down and are "homeless" for extended period of time
Does Warranty Cover most of it?
On the accident and insurance side, do they Resolve claims fairly quickly?
