Hello, so I took an absence of leave following my Fall 2018 Semester at Rutgers due to the financial constraint my family was in. I have been continuing my education studies at community college for the time being.
1) Is my re enrollment application going to be evaluated as a transfer student? I was under the impression that because I was already at the school, they would simply take me back and evaluate my transcript for credits but not necessarily in the same manner as an incoming transfer student.
2) I failed a class during my semester there (my excuses if that makes it any better: Had to work every second I wasn't there had to commute an hour each way) I plan on retaking the class the semester I return (Summer 19) is this something that can possibly hinder me from being accepted back?
3) Does anybody know when I may hear back?
I was under the impression that a leave of absence was different from say withdrawing from the school, am I guaranteed to be accepted back or do I run the risk of them denying me? I'm just stressed over everything and I'd really rather have some concrete answers on how this works so it's not another thing to worry about. Thanks!
