Good luck to all those taking "Group F" math exams, which includes 111, 112, 115, 135, 151, and 152. Some rules to remember:
- No phones! Turn them off, not just on vibrate.
- Have your ID ready at any time during the exam and be ready to show it when you turn in your exam.
- The exam is 3 hours. So use the restroom before the exam starts and have something to eat before the exam starts.
Some tips to remember:
- Attempt every problem. Write something!
- Take 5 minutes at the start of the exam to read the entire exam, including the instructions. Do the problems you know you know first! Then save your remaining time for the harder problems.
- The exam is 3 hours. You have plenty of time to attempt each problem and check your work.
- Do not give up! Attempt every problem. Do not resign yourself to failure. You never know what will happen.
And for those taking the exam with me today, just know that I have zero patience for shenanigans during final exams. 😉😠😈 Please read my Sakai announcements for more details.
Above all, relax! Last-minute studying will likely not help you unless you already know the subject and need a very quick reminder of something. You should probably not be doing any more practice problems at this point, or only very few. The more important thing to do is to calm down and get something to eat. Just remember: in 6 hours it will all be over. You will survive.
