I've recently started trying to learn it since my company offers a small training course in it, and well... it's a mess for me. I come from a mobile development background (Java and Kotlin) and it's been....daunting to say the least. I'm wondering if there are any pointers or articles anyone can share that might make understanding some aspects easier. Right now I just don't really follow or understand pointers, references, generics, dynamics, etc. Basically all the direct memory access and abstraction stuff is way over my head at the moment.
Edit: Thank you everyone for overlooking my snark and giving some good advice, references and places to further my understanding. I genuinely appreciate it.
