(sorry this is late I have been busy) I went to the September 19, 2023 show of RDR WTW in Tandanya (Adelaide). I have previously been to the 2018 tour (ADL leg again), so my expectations were high.

The show started with the warm up act (the DRDU girls) which I thought was an amazing way to introduce the DRDU girls into the touring space of WTW. Gabriella kicked it off ....by performing a version of a children's song called "Button Factory" At every break in the Button Factory song, a new more traditional drag song relating to buttons came on, then would seamlessly trasition back to Button Factory. It was a fucking HOOT. There are some clips on YT but no full performance.

Next Flor ATE THE HOES UP! With this BEAUTIFUL LATINA DANCE NUMBER UGH BEAUTIFUL! No notes, she wore a red dress and was PAINTED (I was lucky enough to be on the floor (HA) on Stage Right.

Last was Hollywood and she was fabulous but was quite short as the main WTW was about to begin, I'll def be booking tix to a Hollywood gig soon.

Now for the real show WTW! They began with the "Wake Me Up (Delusion)" Opening as usual for this tour, same choreo as I have seen in US/CA/UK footage. EXCEPT, they played the *WRONG VERSION* which included a reprise which confused the audience and no doubt the queens.

The show was amazing, the queens were STUNNING, Mistress was SO GOOD. I bought her Tee in the merch queue for $60 and a tote for $30 but was DEF worth it. It's the same design shown in Trixie's video "Kiki with Mistress Isabelle Brooks"

My one qualm was the audience energy... EVERYONE WAS SO QUIET. Camden at the beginning of Act 2 literally said "WAKEY WAKEY ADELAIDE" which was um needed.

Overall, I preferred the 2018 version, the venue was smaller which made for a more engaged audience.
