In a video for Wired (https://youtu.be/2Z2sgENwu98) marathon runner Des Linden suggests not running minimalist for long distance. Iโve been running (and also most of my walking) in minimalist shoes for almost a year now, but I have only done two half marathons like that, and very slowly. Do people agree that minimalist running should be reserved for shorter distances?
Minimalist shoes were the catalyst I needed to get serious about running. Awkward at first but got me in touch with how my body moves best. If you agree that it isnโt great for long distances, do you have any suggestions on how to find comfortable running in normal shoes again?
