i like the event because it gives an ironman like myself a chance to get a super rare item , it makes people want to play the game and compare the loot that they get.
2 ironman in my clan got the hat and they said it was the biggest dopamine hit they ever got from this game no boss drop comes close to it and thats what i like to hear.
I do agree that the hat is a lil bit too rare they should bump the rate just a tiny bit.
The real fucked up part about the entire event is TREASURE HUNTER , th should have never gave papers and definitely should have never added the hat to the current promo...it just ruins the fun of the event by making it related to irl money.
i understand that th = big money for jagex but rares should not be related to th in any way just pure rng and everyone has the same fair chances.

Overall i love the event as an ironman even if i dont get the hat (god bless ironman mode) but if i was playing on my main i would be pissed about the current promo so i hope they do more but without th involvement.
