I mean, how many level 75 staves do we need? We already have Poly-pore staff with built in spells, and Staff of light to save runes.

Another level 75 staff that's free the first time, and costs 500k to reclaim, while providing unlimited amounts of the most expensive elemental rune (fire) makes my ability to kill Ice Strykewyrms even more useless. Even the Runespan staff takes forever to get.

I don't mind more free/cosmetic/event weapons or rewards, but why does it have to be better than Staff of Light and Poly-pore staff? Power-creep is already everywhere in the game.

Why not release a Purely cosmetic wand, then a shield at 1/3 an orb at 2/3, and the staff at the end. Its not like new players have a hard time buying Staff of Light or Abyssal wand anyway.

I mean you may as well remove the Slayer Task requirement for Strykewyrms at this point, have Gano Beasts drop a fully charged staff, and have the Runespan staff take 1 hour to get.
