considering its a family thing I'd think it depends on if your grandfather is Norwegian (or at least Scandinavian) or anglo. Personally my family is English so I'd only so anglo saxon
That said, Anglo saxon is much better for a tattoo IMO, I like the sharp angles and straight lines
