Ruger Security-9 (3819) problem
Post Body

I’ve had this pistol since May 16th. Took it out to fire shortly after receiving it. Fired fine. Put about 100rds through it. Took it home, looked the manual over and disassembled it did some light cleaning and oiled it where the manual advises. Took it out today and it fired fine for about 3 magazines. Then all of a sudden, put a new magazine in and pull back to cock it and the ammo gets stuck downwards in the breach not allowing the bullet to be received nor the slide to move fully forward. Is this a common issue? I read Ruger’s “no written warranty” policy which makes me feel suspicious. I put in a customer service request on the website, but doesn’t stating that you don’t give a a warranty on your product raise a red flag? If I owned a business that’s been around for over 75 years I would be damn proud of my product and absolutely issue at least a limited warranty. No warranty at all makes me feel like the company doesn’t feel comfortable standing behind their product. Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions?
