Rugby league style names

so what gives?
I hate the americanised style names. to me it makes is sound more like a high school team than a pro rugby team, and is a bit gimmicky, but...
What if the teams were named after something that their town was famous for? i recon we could have a right laugh with some of the names.
EG: Llanethli miners, Leinster Dairy Farmers, Glasgow Junkies etc:
