Clouds are formless/shapeless, that can be present in infinite number of (local) positions at infinitesimal precision. How do weather forecasts predict cloud/rain? Many, many regressions at every logitude/latitude of the (local) area?
Post Body
Just a curiosity spark I had recently that's a bit outside of my domain
To clarify, I can see running a regression at position (2,2) on how many mm of rain there will be. Do I repeat that for every position for weather forecasts?
