What was even up with that website? It's crazy to think about how much time I spent there. I usually had Facebook and Tumblr open concurrently; FB was where my actual friends were, and Tumblr was this cool place I would log into where nobody gave a shit about me whatsoever. You could write very personal journal entries and post them and it didn't matter; who was gonna see it? Your handful of other emo/gay/hipster/female nerd friends that followed your blog. They didn't care. Those were your least normal friends and maybe that's why you were all on there.
Personally, I was never bold enough to get a following larger than like a thousand. I had no gimmick, no interesting or funny text posts, no aesthetic selfies. I did make friends at least, which I kept for as long as I could. None remain today, but it's also been nearly a decade and I used to be a mildly avoidant person so I was bad at keeping friends once I made them. That's why I was on Tumblr.
All of the drama has been talked about to death so I won't mention it. It was cool while it lasted though, which was a couple years before the porn ban.
Oh yeah! And it was obviously heavily psyopped by multiple governments, probably.
I still have a secret tumblr that somehow has 20k followers lol
