I work at a gaming shop and I have noticed some of my pathfinder gaming tables have been diminishing in size. I have talked to the event organizer and I know of the problem. It at this point is where I am at a loss of what to do.
We have “That guy” who plays every week. He is very socially inept, overshares, doesn’t cooperate with the party (to the point where he has cause 2 TPK’s in back to back weeks), he is constantly talking over the gm... it seems the list just gets longer and longer. As a member of the staff of the store I feel like I have the opportunity to correct this behavior but he has been sat down by experienced members of PFS and it just went in one ear and out the other.
I love the shop I work at, and want it to be a positive area for everyone who comes in. People are leaving because of the person.
What kind of things can I say to someone like this that will stop the misbehavior? What can I do that will make the tables a positive experience for both new players and experienced players?
