Hey gang, guy who’s trying to make a campaign for his wife here, and I’m in need of some help.
You see, I’ve been using the Microlite20 rulesets (link: https://microlite20.org/community/viewforum.php?f=15) for around six years now, and right now I’m sort of having a love/hate relationship with them. On one hand, I appreciate the streamlining and the ease of play, but on another hand, it’s been losing steam for me really fast. I’ve had players who’ve said that they enjoyed my campaigns using the rulesets, but aren’t really all that thrilled about the lack of tangible advancement and options (like class features and feats)
I know Microlite20 has billed itself as being this completely straightforward “no bs” rules-lite system, but is that asking too much from it? Will it be easier to just dump it and use 3.5 or 5th Edition, or can I just add in advancement options to Microlite20.
I hope you guys can understand where I’m coming from and help me out!
