Hi- How do I determine how many character ports a character has in All Flesh Must be Eaten?

Sorry for the stupid question,
I am preparing to run "All Flesh Must be Eaten" but I am confused how to determine zombie power. Well, two fold. First is that I don't get how I figure the "Character Points" that would equal to the power of a zombie they can fight. The second question was determining power- since the basic zombie doesn't get really seem to equal five power.
Any help would be appreciated, sorry again for the stupid question.
