I am the guy that got the sudden urge to play a Star Wars rpg. I found about Fantasy Flight's titles, and ended up reading the Genesys system, the one with their custom "narrative dice".
I haven't tried it yet, but it looks rather cumbersome for the GM to build and roll huge handfuls of dice every time any NPC does something. As far as I understand, every roll could be constructed from the perspective of the character being targeted and rolled by that player. Is there some reason why that's not possible? It would appear like a net improvement, and I can't understand why it's not already like this.
