RPGers of Reddit: What makes your local FLGS awesome?

My friend and I have been toying with the idea of opening an FLGS in our area and recently, the talk turned serious. What does it take to have an awesome FLGS?
A bit of background, we live in a smaller town down south that is starting to grow, the FLGS in our town barely does fan service, doesn't open until 4 in the afternoon daily and hasn't updated their website since the store opened two years ago, so, the competition is basically non-existent.
I saw the post for http://sapphirecitygames.com and thought "Man, that's awesome. That's the vibe we're going for here."
Help me out Redditors. What makes a FLGS awesome?
