Your parents warned you not to talk to strangers, you still aren't sure if you should have listened.
The basic idea of the game is "Monsters and Other Childish Things" (MOCT) crossed with "Digimon" to make a version of the game that will be a little easier to run on roll20. The problem with running MOCT on roll20 is that there is a massive amount of cross chat because you play not only your own character (referred to as "the child") but also the monster friend of another child.
The actual idea to make The game easier to run on roll20 is that the monsters are from the internet and can only communicate via text. That way you wouldn't have people rping over each other as the game goes on or needing to take breaks nearly every scene for someone to talk to another player for a long time.
As an added bonus, I really think the idea of actual net demons is pretty awesome and there are a lot of things you could do with the idea from straight Digimon to slender man to representations of defunct services to manifested internet memes.
Any thoughts? Would any of you want to play in something like this if I ran it?
