Post Body

I recently published this on Itch.io and DriveThruRPG. This game is free. My first game, Dextra, has also been made free. As with Dextra, I welcome others to play these games or to adapt any mechanics of interest for their own use.

This is a rules-light game set around PCs performing the most mighty, unexpected and bizarre deeds. The universe is coming to an end. Those unfathomably powerful beings responsible for its existence have grown bored with... everything. Our doom is assured, there is no escaping it. But our wisest scholars and sages believe that we can delay the inevitable if the mightiest heroes (or most dastardly villains) can gain their attention even temporarily through amazing adventures. The time for ordinary heroes is over.

Features:

  • Rules-light (14 pages).
  • 2d6 based system.
  • Quick and easy character creation (6 Attributes, 6 Skills, and a small selection of universal powers).
  • Truly collaborative storytelling: the GM decides the (re)actions of the world and when scenes end, but players decide how hard their tasks are by increasing the difficulty of their fellow PC actions (and describing the complications); tough feats can captivate the higher powers, but only if they succeed.
  • No lore other than that listed above, and mostly setting-agnostic (one skill is "Magical", which implies at least a mild fantasy element).
