Could use some help making my PC group become a group.
Post Body

So I am running a Star Wars Saga Edition game. It is based in the Legacy era 140 some years after episode 6. Basically an era filled with a lot of great opportunities, the sith have recently overthrown the empire. The empire fragmented to the sith and the loyalists to the original emperor(who is actually not a bad dude). Due to sith influence the Galactic Alliance(Basically the republic) fell in a war against the empire.

So the PC group decided there needs to be a full blown rebellion. They are in the process of trying to gather up ships and forces to fight the sith. They have stolen a few ships, and they even have a few hundred people in their organization at the moment.

However my group seems to find working as a team difficult and I am sure a lot of that could have been caused or avoided by me. One player is a bounty hunter and continually does things like check the bounties on the other players and mulls over turning them in. One player wants to build a shadow organization and build a spy network up from nothing and looking out for #1 doesn't even come close to his interactions. Another player is an ex sith who ran away and his sith mistress is rather upset and going after him and this has caused some collateral damage to the other PC's. One is a force sensitive who has started secretly working with the sith mistress to try to reduce the collateral damage she received. The last player is like Guy Fleeman, he is just happy to be on the show.

Some of this is absolutely my fault. The sith mistress I was running was trying to drive a wedge between the players to exploit them, but with what I considered having the kids gloves on I couldn't have done much better by nuking them.. So now I am trying to build up their team work so the game doesn't fall apart. I have intertwined 4(the one player has no real back story and just likes playing) of the players back stories together so they would hopefully see their goals as aligned. All this has done now is make them scramble to get their goal done first before the other players.

I am some what at a loss and I am trying to figure out how as a GM I can basically run some missions that are team building exercises. There is a lot of back story that I glossed over but if any one needs more elaboration on what is going on I am more than willing to share.

TL;DR My group does not work as a team and I could use some team building advice as GM
