Having just started my second game of Dark Heresy up with my players, after having completed a 3 year old game, have we talked a lot about how we could all improve on this game, and the topic of combat came up.
Playing in a setting with guns did my players often end up with going into cover and spray a lot of full auto shots at the enemies until they were gone, never really moving around on the battlefield or doing much else, since a gun have a pretty far range, and my drawn battlemaps can only be so big.
So I was wondering what kind of things other GMs have done to spice up their combat, and would especially love hearing about things that worked to make sci-fi/futuristic combat more interesting.
