To be honest I'm quite happy with how my book is doing, but I'm left with a curiosity. As I noticed fluctuation and views on certain chapters. As far as I'm aware Royal road is far better at correctly displaying reads than Wattpad. Mostly because Wattpad counts your own reads and whenever reader reread the chapter it counts for two reads. But I was under the impression that Royal road does not count My views as reads and it makes an effort to only count unique reads. Meaning if a reader reads a chapter and then comes back and reads it again it doesn't count as a new read. So if that's true, it makes me wonder how I get big dips on certain chapters. At one point I was hitting 60 concurrent for almost five or six chapters maybe and then one chapter in the middle of those was 42 and then it jumps back up to 60 and continues on at 60. Which just feels weird, does that mean that people are skipping chapters?
