I live in Manchester and i've not had any mail for 2 weeks

Title of the post is self-explanatory. 1 of the items is a Signed For package which got posted from Scotland on November 22nd and it still hasan't arrived yet, and the other item also from Scotland still hasn't arrived yet and that was sent first class a week ago. What's going on? I haven't seen a single postman or postvan or anything round here for ages now.
